I'm Back

So it has been forever since I have written a blog. But it's not because I've been gone, that would be a good excuse. No, it's just that I'm lazy and don't necessarily like to write, well type in this case. But I haven't been doing all that I wanted to this summer. I mostly just work a lot and read. I was so excited for the last Harry Potter to come out and I read it just before I went to girls camp. The entire we me and another girl up the were talking about it. it was so gooooooooooooooood!!! But then I finally listened to my friends, mom, and sister and read Twilight. Now don't take me wrong I love Harry Potter, but I think that this one might just top it. The books are sooooooooooo good!!! I love Edward but most of the time he's driving me crazy with how he acts. I just love how this series has everything, adventure love romance and drama. it is so amazingly good. I can't say how good, that's impossible. But any one that reads this I highly advice you read these books they are fabulous!!!

*Freedom*

Wow it's great, now that it's close to the end of the year my English teacher has stopped requiring us to write a weekly blog. I think I will keep doing so anyway, it's just nice to write out frustrations. But now it's not required so it's a lot more fun and easier. Before it was just "I'm doing this cause I have to." And it has been that way until my last blog. And boy can I tell you it was nice not to HAVE to write a blog and make sure it was analytical. I could just write and not have to worry about it being graded. Now I can just babble and go on and on about totally pointless things. Not that anyone will really read my stuff but it's fun to write things anyway.

I do have to say on Mr. Rich's behalf that writing these blogs has made writing a lot easier, but I'm Analyzing everything. Sometimes that can be really fun, and other times it just gets annoying because I start thinking to much. Which than makes me worry or second guess, wait no a hundred times re-think my my self. Because now I think about things way to much, especially the simple little things, like do I want cotton candy or not. You would think it would be a yes or no awnser but not for me. I think of why i want it and why i shouldn't have it and compare. It can take me half an hour to talk my self into a decision.

Any way this is what I meant on babbling. So now I'm done and have to go study for my finals. But I'm just happy I'm not required to write an analytical blog every week now.

Unnecessary Fear~

So I'm on a swim team, and sometimes I don't swim every set or I don't complete it all. When I do this my coaches get really mad at me, now I'm not the only one doing this and they get mad at all of us. Than we go because they tell us to. Why do we swim when ever they tell us to. I'm curious to know because really they can't make us do anything. I mean they yell and threaten all they want but really it's not like they can force us to go or force us to swim hard. All they really can do is threaten to double they set, make us do it over again, or make it harder. But what's making us swim that either. They can't beat us or again force us physically to swim. Now granted it is scarry when they yell at us sometimes, but that's all they can do. So really we have unnecessary, irrational fear that our coachs are going to make us do what they want. So to awnser my question, there is no physical reason to fear coaches. They can't hurt you.

~OBSERVATIONS~

So I decided being a lifeguard is probably the best job i could have right now. Why some may ask, it's like you just sit there and watch people? Well that's just it right there, I realized why I like Guarding so much is because I love to watch people. But why do I like to watch and observe people so much? I thought about it and the big reason would be that people are just interesting. I mean there are just so many different types of people; crazy, calm, disrespectful, caring and so on and so forth. It's just so much fun to look at a group of people playing in the pool and most of the time the most opposite types of people act the same in the pool. I just find it so amazingly interesting to see all these different types of people. So i guess the only reason I like to observe people is because they are all so unique and interesting.

~Parents~

From the title you may be thinking that I'll be talking about my parents. Well that is not so. I'm talking about other parents, the ones that go to the pool and don't watch their kids and are just stupid. How could they even be permitted to be parents? Why don't they watch and care for their kids? Well there really is no way to prevent them from becoming parents, you can't force them to not have kids. But why do they not see that with kids come responsibility. That you have to watch them constinly, especially in the pool. So why don't they watch their kids? One of the only reasons that I can think of is that they think their kids are just fine by themselves. But how can they think that becasue most of the time their kids have never had swim lessons or been taught to swim very well. So I think that the parents don't watch their kids because they think us LifeGuards are there to watch their kids and make sure they don't hurt themselves. Well this is true we need the help of the parents to enforce it with their kids specifically. Mainly because kids don't pay attention to our wistles or us telling them not to do something. We also can't watch every kid in the pool super close like the parents can. Guards are there for emergencies and to set guidlines and precotions. NOT TO BABYSIT. This is the big reason parents bug me so much, they think that we are their kids babysitters. Really this blog stats why parents bug me so much? Not so much on the why they don't watch their kids.

*NAMES*

Names can say a lot about a person, sometimes the persons name can describe their personalities very cleanly. I never really thought about this until yesterday when was watching charlie and the chocolate factory with my cousin. Now i know that people in real life one don't have names like that and two most often don't act like there name says, but in movies they really think about the names a lot. Not all characters have this but a lot do. like in the chocolate factory movie, the snotty girls. then there's the boy that watches to much TV his name is Mike TV, not sure that's how it's spelt, his name is self explanatory, and so on and so forth. so why do producers and such think of the names so carefully? I believe it to be that they use the names to more fully portray the characters personalities. certain names portray to us different thoughts and looks. You can't name a hot guy Bob, it just doesn't quite work. do to certain experiences we see names as having distinct personality traits. so names can more fully portray what the producers want you to see.

~Neighbors~

Why is it so horrible to have a person that has been your neighbor your whole life suddenly decides to move? It's especially bad when they've been like an aunt and uncle, they've had a key to our house forever and been one of our best friends. I know that we'll keep in touch and everything but it's still really sad that they won't be there every time that I'm having a hard day and my parents aren't home. Also I'll just miss seeing them. So really it's so horrible because it's like your best friend from sense you were born and the one that is so close to you is just leaving. it seems like I'll never see them again. That's why it's so tough.

~Vacation~

I'm so excited for sping break,not only are we out of school for almost a week, but I'm going to Disneyland. So why is it that we always look forward to vacations? Well obviously it's a break so you don't have to go to school or work. But it always, well occasionally, is better when you take a vacation away from home. why is that? most likely the reason is that you don't have to cook and clean. you just stay at a hotel and not do anything but relax and have fun. but getting away has always seemed nice to me. i believe it to be because you see the same faces day after day than when you leave you see all different faces and people and scenery. it's just change and difference that makes it nice for me. i don't like things the same all the time. not only is it nice to see and be in a different area and environment, but than when you come home you realize again how great your own bed is and how fun your friends and neighbors are. so vacation is not only the getting away part but also the coming home, that's what makes vacations so nice.
