*NAMES*

Names can say a lot about a person, sometimes the persons name can describe their personalities very cleanly. I never really thought about this until yesterday when was watching charlie and the chocolate factory with my cousin. Now i know that people in real life one don't have names like that and two most often don't act like there name says, but in movies they really think about the names a lot. Not all characters have this but a lot do. like in the chocolate factory movie, the snotty girls. then there's the boy that watches to much TV his name is Mike TV, not sure that's how it's spelt, his name is self explanatory, and so on and so forth. so why do producers and such think of the names so carefully? I believe it to be that they use the names to more fully portray the characters personalities. certain names portray to us different thoughts and looks. You can't name a hot guy Bob, it just doesn't quite work. do to certain experiences we see names as having distinct personality traits. so names can more fully portray what the producers want you to see.

~Neighbors~

Why is it so horrible to have a person that has been your neighbor your whole life suddenly decides to move? It's especially bad when they've been like an aunt and uncle, they've had a key to our house forever and been one of our best friends. I know that we'll keep in touch and everything but it's still really sad that they won't be there every time that I'm having a hard day and my parents aren't home. Also I'll just miss seeing them. So really it's so horrible because it's like your best friend from sense you were born and the one that is so close to you is just leaving. it seems like I'll never see them again. That's why it's so tough.

~Vacation~

I'm so excited for sping break, not only are we out of school for almost a week, but I'm going to Disneyland. So why is it that we always look forward to vacations? Well obviously it's a break so you don't have to go to school or work. But it always, well occasionally, is better when you take a vacation away from home. why is that? most likely the reason is that you don't have to cook and clean. you just stay at a hotel and not do anything but relax and have fun. but getting away has always seemed nice to me. i believe it to be because you see the same faces day after day than when you leave you see all different faces and people and scenery. it's just change and difference that makes it nice for me. i don't like things the same all the time. not only is it nice to see and be in a different area and environment, but than when you come home you realize again how great your own bed is and how fun your friends and neighbors are. so vacation is not only the getting away part but also the coming home, that's what makes vacations so nice.

*Just Play*

Why do people make pointless stupid games? And why do we find them so fun? Why they are made has a pretty obvious awnser really. to make a lot of money. it's the whole why it's so fun part that is interesting to think about. maybe it's just because it's a game and it's fun to play. but it could also be more interesting than that. due to the stress and complexity of our lives and the fact that we think a ton and sometimes to much. once in a while it's nice to just sit back relax and do something mindless and entertaining. though some people do take this to the extreme levels and play these game to much, than it just sucks your brain cells out. but i am all for the occasional mindless stupidity of games. that's why the are so fun, simple and relaxing. you don't have to think to much to do it. unlike much of our life time is spent.

~SUMMER~

Lately with the weather getting warmer and it looking so nice out side I have been craving summer. Now I am a lifeguard at the Scera out door pool in the summer and it can get really hot and miserable, but with this weather I've been wanting the pool to open so badly. Why is it that I want the torture of the Scera. I don't think that I'm looking forward to that part in particular, I believe the reason to be that I miss all the guards and the fun we have. I also miss my tan a lot. Again the big reason is that i miss hanging out with all the guards. There are just so many and we all are so different but yet we all get along great, okay most of use do. We all just play and laugh and though I'm still guarding at the Rec right now it's not the same. Now there are very few people working and you only interact a tiny bit. But at the Scera you are interacting all the time. during breaks you have four guards on break, one from each of the pools in the park. So you talk a lot more and share the days events. Whereas at the Rec at tops you can have two guards on break at night, that and when we close is the only times that we interact and talk pretty much.
Also another reason why I miss the Scera is that after closing, many nights, we play in the pools. the supervisor keeps the slides on sometimes and many of the us will stay late and play in the pools. We go down the slides and off the diving boards and we can break almost any rule. We don't break the really obviously dangerous rules, like jumping on another person or stuff that would really hurt. No it's more like going head first on our tubes down the slides and stuff like that. So I really miss working at the Scera but than I think of all the stupid people with no common senses that I have to watch I it makes me able to wait a bit longer. Though that part is really kinda fun too. Not the stupid people part but the part that there is more people and so you have to be more alert and there are more saves at the Scera. More adrenaline for us adrenaline junkies. There not hard saves most of the time, just jump in and pull them out to the side cause they can't swim kind of thing. So I really am pretty excited for the Scera to open.
