*Frustrations*

Sorry this a fuming blog enrty, but I have to let it out somewhere. Have you ever had one of those days that life is just a tard in a bucket. Well today was one of those days for me. To start with I was tired this morning but had to go to swim. I know my fault I should have gone to bed earlier, my sister already told me that. Swim practice was alright and when I came home I was good for about the first thirty minutes. Than my sister, who was over for the day, wanted to bath all three dogs, guess who got to me, right me. Mainly I just had to brush them and hold them down to have their nails clipped. Now I'm okay brushing my dog because one she likes being brushed and two she is very obedient. But then there is my sister's dog and my brother's dog. Bouncer, my brother's dog, is okay; you have to force him by lifting or shoving to get him to do anything but he will let you move him. But my sister's dog is the biggest tard in the world. She won't come or sit or obey in any way what so ever, she only obeys my sister, even then she sometimes doesn't obey. So you have to force and tackle her in order to get her done and to stay still to brush. Than getting her down to cut her nails is near impossible. I will lay on top of her with her head covered and under my arms while I hold her leg while my sister tries to cut her nails. Luckily I didn't have to try and bath the last two because I might have died.

After that I had to take care of the jars. Last night we clean out half of the storage room and there was a load of bad food that had either had not sealed right or was just plain old, well old. So I got to empty them all out in the garden to day. That was the most rancid, grossest thing ever. There was old tomato juice and paste that was just about enough to be considered lethal. There was also this old slimy gross, practically alive jam that I had to pry from the jar. It was gross. There was also the task of just getting the lids off the jars. That was a job and a half, I swear those lids were glued on with super glue or something. They had to sit in boiling hot water for ten minutes before they were loosened enough for me to pry off.

Than came my next task, this is what really kicked my can for today. My dear loving sister held the 'I scrached your back, now you scratch mine' over me today. For Sadie's, which I was forced into going to anyway, my sister made us shaker dresses for the theme. I thanked her and said that I would wash her car for her as labor payment. Well apparently I said I would wash her car four time, I thought I said two, but what do I know. So I had already done it two times and now she wanted me to wash this old piece of junk truck that her husband is wanting to sell now, after he fixes the engine a bit. Bear in mind that the truck use to be some construction guy's work truck so I'm not exaggerating when I say it was a mess worthy of just being burned for I thought it beyond repair. As I said my sister wanted me to clean it, just the inside:). That was torture, there was dirt for the dirt, like an empire of dirt. I scrubbed half of a tiny cab for an hour, and there was still dirt every where. After a I had done all that I could I just gave up, it was a futile effort. Not to mention that the truck was possessed. The passenger door kept closing even though I opened it and it would stay open for about two minutes, than with out prompting it would just shut. Once when it shut my hips were it the way and it shut with quite a force, now I have aching bruised hips. Just my luck.

All of this may not have been half as bad if I was just not having one of those crapy days, when you feel like crap, look like crap, and everything just seems like crap. Just one of those days.

~Eragon~

The other night my family and me went to go see the movie Eragon. Now I love the book and think it is wonderful, but the movie was a little iffy. For one they just totally didn't stick with the right details or happenings and that just drove me insane. I was sitting there through the whole movie being tortured by how far of the movie is from the book. They did so many things wrong that it is going to completely ruin the next movie if they make one. They didn't put in the Twins and ruined half of the necessary things, like they didn't even have dwarves or say that Arya is an elf. Now that I think of it I don't even know if they mentioned the elves, which are a huge part in the whole story line. I know that if they had done everything in the book exact, than it would have been five hours long, which I would have been fine with. They didn't even have Arya look right, or Eragon. That drove me crazy because it would have been simple to make them look right. Also they made it seem like Eragon owned Saphira, whereas in the book it is a even dominance between the to, or Saphira has more ownership. They did how ever make Durza look exactly right. The computer people did a great job on Saphira as well. Also the movie was pretty good if you hadn't read the books it would be alright. But for me it was pretty disappointing at how they didn't follow the book correctly.

~Family Traditions~

Traditions are different for each family, it really depends on where the family heritage is from. Such as our family, our family is mostly from England or around that area so most of our traditions are based on English traditions. One of our family traditions originating form our land of birth we perform a week or so before Christmas. All the girls, and even the some of the boys in our family get together and make sausage rolls, or otherwise known as pigs-in-a-blanket. This is a very common treat in England and so we make it a Christmas treat for our family. So why do we have family traditions? I guess just to keep up the traditions of our ancestors and to show the next generation of the family their heritage. Also to get together as a family, sometimes life is so hectic the family drifts apart but the traditions always brings us back together and unifies us again.

***THE ROOM***

A room I was so grateful to escape from, for it was a room of torture. Just last Friday the Swim Team had a trip to St. George for a meet, it was fun and and okay trip but when we got to the hotel that we were spending the night at all went down hill. Though I was just happy that there was a bed to sleep in and some warmth that was all the good the room we stayed in possessed. First the key card hadn't been scanned properly so we sat there for ages trying to unlock our door, finally Sara got it to open and we lugged our stuff in the room. Soon as we went in the room the smell overwhelmed us. The smell of smoke and musk was horrible. Even though I had a very stuffy nose and couldn't smell very well I could still smell it a bit, it was horrible. Ours was the only room out of all the swim teams rooms that was not smoke free though it was suppose to be according to Missy. Also the floor was covered with who knows what stuck to the carpet. The blankets on the bed also had holes that looked like cigarette burns and knife stabs which was really scary. That and the fact that the door needed five locks on it made us all very scared. The worst part is that in the middle of the night I woke up and sniffed my nose and the smell overwhelmed me because my nose cleared up during the night. I was just glad that we were only there for one night or else I might of died.

(: Gingerbread Fun :)

Why is building gingerbread houses so much fun and so interesting to make? I think that the biggest reason is because you can make it so that it's your own creation and your own ideas. There are so many things, new and old, that you can experiment and play around with. Sometimes it doesn't work, but the great part is you can just lick the frosting off and try something else.
It's also so much fun to do it with someone else, so that you can talk and get some advise on what to do. It's a great time to just relax and talk and joke around. That is why making your own creative gingerbread house is so much fun.
